Cancellations & ‘No Show’ Policy

While we historically haven’t taken deposits at Hot Pot Pottery, due to some recent cancellations at short notice we have had to reluctantly look at introducing a cancellations & ‘no show’ policy. So, here it is…..

Food & Drink

Food & drink must be ordered at least 4 days prior to your booking and if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking you will be liable for the cost of any food bought in specifically for your booking. If you or a person in your party does not show up on the day then the full cost for that place will still need to be paid for by yourself or the remaining members of your party.

Pottery Painting Sessions/Mobile Pottery Painting

Once booked, if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, or you or a member of your party doesn’t show up for your booking, you or the remaining members of your party will be liable to pay for the painting charge of £6.00 per place cancelled.

Pottery Trial Classes

Once booked, if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, or you or a member of your party doesn’t show up for your booking, you or the remaining members of your party will be liable for 50% of the total cost of the places cancelled.

Special Events

If food and drink has been ordered then our Food and Drink Cancellation Policy will apply (see above). If you cancel within 24 hours of your booked Special Event Activity (or you or a member of your party doesn’t show up on the day) then you or the remaining party members will be liable for 50% of the published activity cost or agreed price.

8 Week Classes/Creative Breaks

If you cancel within a week of the start of your 8 Week Class/Creative Break you will be liable for 50% the cost of any places booked on Pottery Classes and £6.00 per person cancelled off any Pottery Painting activities. If you cancel a Creative Break then our accommodation Terms & Conditions for The House of Bread will also apply.
