Classes/Activities

COVID-19 STATEMENT:

In the health interests of visitors & ourselves we are currently ON HOLD for on-site pottery activities. We are hoping to be able re-open in some form for POTTERY CLASSES during EARLY AUGUST (we will review this in-line with Government Guidance). In the meantime, we have TAKE AWAY POTTERY PAINTING KITS available for overnight hire & our POTTERY GALLERY/SHOP can be booked for private (no pressure to buy) browsing.

Get In Touch With Your Creative Side

NB: Regular times/availability may vary due to our Special Event Days/Weekends.

At Hot Pot Pottery we love to get people in touch with their creative side and offer fun pottery classes and pottery painting sessions. Our pre-bookable pottery activities (Pottery Trial Classes or Pottery Painting) are great fun for all ages and we can also design bespoke Party Packages for birthday or hen do celebrations or Corporate Events.

Pottery Painting Sessions

Due to Covid-19, at the moment we can’t offer pottery painting on site but we can offer take-away pottery painting kits which you can get creative and enjoy at home or in your holiday accommodation. Perfect for all ages, weather and situations! Click Here to find out more….

Pottery Trial Classes – on hold

For age 5 and above. Pottery Trial Classes are for those wanting to get their hands in the clay and give it a go. They are a lot of fun, include 3 clay techniques (including a go on the wheel) and last approx. 2 hours. They are perfect for groups of friends or families.

We take 2-8 people in our classes and they are bookable in advance usually Thurs-Sun 10-12 or 2-4 (with less availability some weeks depending on our schedule/Special Events). Click Here to find out more….

Combining Pottery Activities

If some of your group want to give the pottery trial class a go and some pottery painting, it is all in the same studio so it is not a problem. We can discuss combining activities when you book.

Food & Drink

We will usually have our coffee machine on during your pottery class/painting session so you can order tea/coffee or cold drinks.

If you are a larger group of 4 or more (perhaps celebrating an event) then you may be interested in pre-bookingGroup Meal with us to be served before/after your pottery activities. Click Here to find out more…

8 Week Pottery Classes – on hold

We also offer 8 week pottery courses (usually in Spring & Autumn). Click Here to find out more…

Creative Breaks- on hold

If you are planning to stay with us in our accommodation at The House of Bread you could either enjoy our Pottery Painting Sessions or take advantage of the great 10% discount on our Pottery Trial Classes (exc. delivery) while you are here OR ask us to put together a bespoke  Creative Break just for you. Payment

In terms of payment, we prefer CASH over card payment if possible (social distancing, good ventilation and sanitising will be observed at the till) as we can no longer share card payment charges customers. We hope you understand.

Dogs

From our perspective well-behaved dogs are welcome in our studio but other people in the class must also be happy to have dogs with them so please do ask if you are bringing your dog.
