NB: Due to Covid-19, in the health interests of visitors & ourselves we are currently CLOSED @HotPotPottery.

We are anticipating being able to re-open in some form during JULY (we will review this in-line with Government Guidance).

In the meantime we are developing some ‘take away’ pottery painting kits which we hope to be able to offer soon. Watch this space for information and stay safe all.

Get In Touch With Your Creative Side

NB: Regular times/availability may vary due to our Special Event Days/Weekends.

At Hot Pot Pottery we love to get people in touch with their creative side and offer fun pottery classes and pottery painting sessions. Our pre-bookable pottery activities (Pottery Trial Classes or Pottery Painting) are great fun for all ages and we can also design bespoke Party Packages for birthday or hen do celebrations or Corporate Events.

Pottery Painting Sessions

For all ages. Pottery Painting Sessions are bookable in advance in our cosy studio usually Thurs-Sun 10-12 or 2-4 (with less availability some weeks depending on our schedule/Special Events). To run a Pottery Painting Session we need at least 4 people (or a pottery trial class already booked in the studio) and we can seat up to 22. If you are a small group or on your own it is always worth contacting us to see if others have booked. Click Here to find out more….

NB: we can also offer Mobile Pottery Painting for larger groups who wish to celebrate elsewhere.

Pottery Trial Classes

For age 5 and above. Pottery Trial Classes are for those wanting to get their hands in the clay and give it a go. They are a lot of fun, include 3 clay techniques (including a go on the wheel) and last approx. 2 hours. They are perfect for groups of friends or families.

We take 2-8 people in our classes and they are bookable in advance usually Thurs-Sun 10-12 or 2-4 (with less availability some weeks depending on our schedule/Special Events). Click Here to find out more….

Combining Pottery Activities

If some of your group want to give the pottery trial class a go and some pottery painting, it is all in the same studio so it is not a problem. We can discuss combining activities when you book.

Food & Drink

We will usually have our coffee machine on during your pottery class/painting session so you can order tea/coffee or cold drinks.

If you are a larger group of 4 or more (perhaps celebrating an event) then you may be interested in pre-bookingGroup Meal with us to be served before/after your pottery activities. Click Here to find out more…

8 Week Pottery Classes

We also offer 8 week pottery courses (usually in Spring & Autumn). Our current ones started Mon 23rd Sept 2019 (2-4 & 6.30-8.30). Click Here to find out more…

Creative Breaks

If you are planning to stay with us in our accommodation at The House of Bread you could either enjoy our Pottery Painting Sessions or take advantage of the great 10% discount on our Pottery Trial Classes (exc. delivery) while you are here OR ask us to put together a bespoke  Creative Break just for you. Click Here to find out more…

In terms of payment, we prefer cash if possible on the day as we are no longer allowed to share the cost of providing card payment facilities with customers. We hope you understand.

From our perspective well-behaved dogs are welcome in our studio but other people in the class must also be happy to have dogs with them so please do ask if you are bringing your dog.
