Get in Touch with your Creative Side

At Hot Pot Pottery we love to get people in touch with their creative side and offer a range of fun pottery classes and activities for you to try.

2 Hour Pottery Trial Classes

Pottery Trial Classes are for those wanting to get their hands in the clay and give it a go (including wheel throwing). They are a lot of fun, include 3 clay techniques and last about 2 hours. They are perfect for groups of friends or families. We take 2-8 people in our studio and classes are bookable Thurs-Sun year-round (less availability on Sundays in winter) 11-1 or 2-4. 8 Week Pottery Classes

At certain times in the year (usually Spring/Autumn) we also offer 8 week Pottery Classes. Please Contact Us if you would like to register your interest.

Residential Pottery Classes

If you are staying with us at The House of Bread you might want to consider taking a few lessons while you are here and we can tailor residential lessons to suit you.

In Development!

We are currently researching a new idea….. ‘Pizza & Pots’. We are hoping this will be an afternoon of  pottery and pizza dough making followed by pizza making cooking and eating and leaving the pots to fire overnight in the embers. Pots could then be picked up the following morning. While this won’t be as robust as a biscuit firing we are hoping it will still give a lovely finish to the pots you make. Please note: this will be a summer-time activity as we will be cooking and eating outside!

In terms of payment, we prefer CASH if possible as we are no longer allowed to share the cost of providing card payment facilities with customers. We hope you understand.
