Gallery/Shop – Book Now!

In the health interests of visitors & ourselves we are currently ON HOLD for on-site pottery activities. We are hoping to be able re-open in some form for POTTERY CLASSES during EARLY AUGUST (we will review this in-line with Government Guidance). In the meantime, we have TAKE AWAY POTTERY PAINTING KITS available for overnight hire & our POTTERY GALLERY/SHOP can be booked for private (no pressure to buy) browsing.

Private Gallery/Shop Browsing!

At the moment, due to Covid-19, we cannot open to the public for on-site pottery activities which is often when people browse our gallery/shop.

However, you can book a private gallery/shop browsing session in our newly created gallery area (with no pressure to buy!). Please Contact us via email or phone if you wish to book a slot.

Covid-19 Considerations

Due to social distancing requirements and the intimate nature of our pottery gallery/shop, browsing sessions will be offered to one individual, family, household or bubble at a time and we will leave you to browse unaccompanied (on trust!).

We are very happy for our pottery to be handled, but visitors will be asked to handwash and/or sanitise hands in the adjacent glazing and firing room prior to browsing.

Door handles and hand wash facilities will be sanitised between booked browsing sessions.

We will also ensure ventilation is maximised with doors and windows open/ajar depending on the weather.

Our Pottery

We have a range of our pottery on display and for sale in our gallery/shop.

It is offered at realistic prices with something to suit all budgets. It is displayed informally on furniture rather than plinths and we encourage visitors to handle pottery before deciding what to buy!

Our pottery is all handmade on-site and inspired by the natural woodland surroundings. Our pieces range from functional cups, goblets, plates, egg cups, jugs and vases to more experimental hand-built animals, thrown & constructed display pieces.

We have a range of finishes from standard stoneware glazes, to crater-glaze, smoke-fired pieces and lots of pieces made from mixing different clays and oxides together and decorating from within rather than on the surface. We also have a range of pieces using local clay if you want to buy your own local momento of the beautiful Forest of Dean.

I do take commissions but requirements must be in keeping with the style of what I already make. Please contact me if you want to discuss.

In terms of payment, we prefer CASH over card payment if possible as we can no longer share card payment charges customers. We hope you understand.

Social distancing, good ventilation and sanitising will be observed at the till .
