Pottery For Sale

NB: Due to Covid-19, in the health interests of visitors & ourselves we are currently CLOSED @HotPotPottery.

We are anticipating being able to re-open in some form during JULY (we will review this in-line with Government Guidance).

In the meantime we are developing some ‘take away’ pottery painting kits which we hope to be able to offer soon.

PLUS: at the moment (due to Covid-19) if you want to book a private time to browse the pottery for sale in our gallery on your own then please contact us.

Our Pottery For Sale

NB: Regular times/availability may vary due to our Special Event Days/Weekends.

At Hot Pot Pottery we also have a range of our pottery on display and for sale.

All our pottery is offered at realistic prices with something to suit all budgets. It is displayed informally on furniture rather than plinths and we encourage visitors to handle pottery before deciding what to buy!

Our pottery is all handmade on-site and inspired by the natural woodland surroundings. Our pieces range from functional cups, goblets, plates, egg cups, jugs and vases to more experimental hand-built animals, thrown & constructed display pieces.

We have a range of finishes from standard stoneware glazes, to crater-glaze, smoke-fired pieces and lots of pieces made from mixing different clays and oxides together and decorating from within the wall of the piece rather than on the surface. We also have a range of pieces using local clay if you want to buy your own local momento of the beautiful Forest of Dean.

See below for a snapshot of what we have available to buy.

We do take commissions but requirements must be in keeping with the style of what we already make and have on display!

Visiting Us

If we have no Pottery Trial Classes or Pottery Painting Sessions booked I may still be working in the pottery studio on my own. So if you would like to view our pottery for sale or see the studio just call me on 07974 983908/01594 837943 to see if I am around or to make an appointment when I am back.

In terms of payment, we prefer cash if possible as we are no longer allowed to share the cost of providing card payment facilities with customers. We hope you understand.
