I booked this place for myself and my Grandson, Neither of us had done this before, I am so glad we did, We both had so much fun, Katie was so lovely & explained everything clearly, she was always there to help you, My Grandson did extremely well 😳 Which was rather annoying 😂, We learned so much & totally loved it, This lady is superb and is very passionate about her work, I never felt rubbish at it, Katie always helps you learn how to correct it and is very kind & encouraging

I had the joy of being gifted a weekend pottery retreat with Hot Pot Pottery. This was the first retreat I believe they had hosted and it definitely set the bar high!
I stayed in one of their guestrooms which was beautifully laid out, as did the other couple on the retreat. It was a perfect combination of learning different pottery skills, being out in nature and the local area – and the home cooked food was amazing! Charles and Katie certainly know how to keep you deliciously fed and watered.
The studio is superbly equipped and Katie really adapted the studio time to each person so we all got something out of it that we wanted, she is a fantastic teacher. I especially enjoyed time spent on different techniques, hand building, slab and of course the wheel. It was a restorative weekend and I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Katie and Charles, I’ll be back soon I hope!

3 Day Pottery Retreat

Pottery Painting! What an amazing experience! The ideal venue for a private birthday celebration! Katie was on hand throughout to offer advice and guidance when needed, it was so relaxing and chilled that the hours passed by quickly, with lots of chatter and laughter. Lots of different pieces to paint, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
